Are you open all year?

As the Newlyn Fish Market is closed during the festive period, we too close during the winter holidays. Our last day of service is generally a few days before Christmas and we then close for an extended break in January. We are open the rest of the year and our current opening hours can always be found here.

Do you allow dogs?

Sadly, we do not permit dogs inside due to our small size, but they are welcome on the outside terrace when it is open.

Do you offer a children’s menu?

We don’t offer a children’s menu but we’ve not had any issues with children not enjoying the dishes on the menu. There’s always a fried fish on the menu, which goes down particularly well!

Do you have parking?

While we don’t have parking, we are located next to the Newlyn Harbour car park. Please note, the car park requires payment and works via license plate recognition. Please ensure you register your vehicle, otherwise you will unfortunately receive a fine.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Do you have tables available for walk-ins?

All of our tables are available to book online, though in the warmer months we also open our upper terraces which are available for walk-ins only, for drinks or snacks.

Do you have space for drinks only?

During the warmer months and clear weather, we welcome walk-ins for drinks and snacks on our upper terraces. When our terraces close, our inside tables are available for diners only due to our small size.

Do you take large group bookings?

We do. Groups of 6 are our maximum for bookings on the terrace, but we take reservations for up to 18 people inside. Bookings for up to 7 people can be made online, for larger groups please find more information here.

I would like to book a table but there is nothing available online?

We open our bookings 60 days in advance, so if you are trying to book with further notice please check back again within 60 days of the date you are interested in.

If you are looking for a date within 60 days and there is nothing available online this will be because we are fully booked. Please feel free to add yourself to the waiting list and you’ll be notified in the event of a cancellation.

*Please note, adding your details to the waiting list does not book or guarantee you a table. If you do receive a notification, the notification in itself does not mean Resy has booked the table for you, you will still need to proceed to Resy to complete the booking.
